Educational School Tours

Our school tours are especially designed for preschool through third grade. Each class takes a 40-60 minute educational walking tour of our farm.

Spring Tours are available in the month of May only; weekday mornings and early afternoons.

In this tour we will discuss the differences between types of soils and the importance of having "good soil". We will also discuss the polination process and a bee's contribution to this necessary activity for continuing our farm's apple, peach and other produce availability, while observing our trees both budding and blossoming. Lastly, we will be visiting one of our fields and depending on which week you schedule your tour, guests will observe the field being prepared for planting, planting taking place and/or seeds germinating and begining to grow.

Fall Tours are available Mid-September through the end of October – weekday mornings and early afternoons only.

In our fall tour we will be focusing on the growing and harvesting of fruits and vegetables. The children will finish their walk with a trip to our apple storage, through our kid’s corn maze, and a visit to our play and picnic area.  Each participant is treated to an apple, glass of apple cider, a donut, an apple farm coloring book and a small pumpkin to take home .
